At school I studied Visual Arts. Del Kathryn Barton was a large inspiration for my final piece for grade 12 in 2012. I am currently at university studying a double major in Communication and Media, and also Fine Art.
I have found my own style and I'm constantly developing it. I push myself to be involved with the Perth art scene and am inspired by WA Artists such as Andy Quilty and Anya Brock.
In March 2013 I posted drawings on my blog. Followers wanted to purchase my work, and they wanted to see more! Flattered, I opened a society6 store (http://society6.com/izzysmithh) and began selling my work in July 2013. I now sell phone cases here on Esty as it is a new and personalised way to sell my work where I genuinely handle every aspect of my small business, and enjoy it.
